I run training sessions for postgraduate students at the GSTM covering systematic literature reviews, qualitative research methods, and ATLAS.ti. What started as a one-off session on ATLAS.ti has become a regular departmental request.

The qualitative research sessions cover research design for interview-based studies, thematic analysis, and hands-on use of ATLAS.ti for coding and data management. The systematic review sessions walk students through the process from formulating review questions through to screening, data extraction, and synthesis. I draw on my own PhD experience with both methods, which keeps the training grounded in actual research practice.
